  • Doherty V O'Sullivan - 18/1/7

Hopefully we can use this thread to inform folk on here who cant access live scoring or view this match (due to work etc.....) of updates.

I can access live scoring, but this is better
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

lol Mitsy. the only problem with doing it is you take your eye off the snooker more than you normally would, even though that might sound silly, but when you see an easy shot you type it out as fast as **** cos you know its gonn be potted etc....

anyway, ill continue to post updates as full as i can, but hope others can/do too, as it can be good to compare others' thoughts also.
      --------------------------------

so, moving on. Mr Williams is the referee.

Both players are wearing a black shirt and a highland spring waistcoat

      Frame 1 is fragmented

comments i make on here would be including :- DO = Doherty, and ROS = O'Sullivan

score just now is 12-10 to doherty in frame 1. Doherty at the table

Ken fails at 43, I'm guessing a safety exchange is going on now. :-)

argh, Eurosport is still showing tennis. As much as I dislike Nadal but if he doesn't get the re-break now and wins this third set (he is two sets up currently), I'll explode.

Ronnie is carving away at his arrears and has reduced it to 5, and the break is still going at 8.

DO gets a decent break to take a crucial lead in a very scrappy frame.

ROS gets in with a good safety and foul from DO

score is 43-43, brown onwards left

ROS pots a long brown 47-43 to ROS
ROS plays safe off the blue

                    DO has a chance of a shot-to-nothing
                    DO misses it.

                    decent chance for ROS

ROS pots the long blue, but awkward on the pink

ROS pots the pink and now leads 1-0 in frames

I like Nadal, but if he wins some time soon he'll give me twice the joy...
On the whole the Australian Open coinciding with the Masters has been pretty inconvenient.

Again it's Ronnie. This time he manages to wrap up the frame. 1-0 with 10 to play.
