This kind of match and result is what I hate most about snooker. Doherty bossed the game really and but for a terrible kick on a frame ball red he would have won comfortably 6-4. As great a player as O'Sullivan is its not the first time luck has had a big helping hand in him getting the result.
Ken must be absolutely gutted and I hate to see players lose through sheer bad luck. I know that luck can play a part in many sports but at snooker its probably the hardest to take because you cannot do anything about it once its happened. Ken never really got another chance and even in the final frame Ronnie missed a red early on and left the white in the pack of reds but yet again got lucky as he didn't leave a pot on. After what happened I think Ken was just frustrated and probably felt he was never destined to win the game and so it proved. Bad luck Ken!
