the crowd are a little over excited, but then again its a major final in a new large venue, so.....understandable (even if not "correct")

shot durations are: 16 seconds for ROS and 19 seconds for DING, on average.

DING has a very good chance to peg back to 2 down, which he really needs if hes to unsettle ROS at all.

Ding has gone mentally now, he hasn't got the fight. You could tell that from his break off, he just hit the pact with no pace and left a simple red.

Bit of bad sportsmanship really from Ding, he still has to make an effort even if he thinks its all over. Its not the first time, I hear he has done this once or twice in qualifiers when he has lost.

Ding wanted to offer the match a frame early! Ironic that Ronnie took him off and told him just to give it another go after the interval. Alright for Ronnie to walk off during a match but not his opponent!!!!

know he just hit the balls in that frame, but did he think it was first to 9, like many are, or was he giving up? he did wait till the end of the frame....

It seems he has given up mentally. Even though he may have offered the match the game is over regardless. Apparantly Ronnie is talking with Ding in his room now.

Ding 's frustration is unexpected, but obviously realising that O sullivan is taking snooker at an even higher level than he can. Snooker can' t be better played (by a human....)

Come on, Cueman, that's not fair. I hope whatever Ronnie said to Ding helps Ding finish the game. If anyone can help, it's probably Ronnie.

When I praised Ding's show of "human-like traits", this was NOT what I had in mind! Hope he finishes in style.

I doubt that Ding didnt know it was a 1st too 10 frames match i mean come on now its the final why would he not know something as important as that.
Obviously he has thrown in the towel his last 2 shots no thought or time was put into them. snooker is good isnt it, brilliant snooker and always some sorta drama
