  • Ding: I am just fine

A translation from Ding's blog, Title is "I am fine"
    http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/48dbcbd801000789

hello everybody, i returned to sheffield. It is very late but I am not sleepy. Just as everybody has seen, i feel very sorry to you (china fans) of the lost champion. And yes, i was eager to win, i played very aggressive at begining, the tempo is too fast. I missed 65 at frame 10, this really frustrated me. I did not pay full attention in later frames. Plus, ronnie played a great game tonight, no mistakes, unstoppable.

Some people might think i was giving up when i went to shake with Ronnie, but in fact, i didn't look at score board and i mistakenly thought game was over. Later Ronnie told me (game was not over) and tried to comfort me not be disturbed by outside. I dont want to talk about behaviors of some audience, but i will not be distracted by outside next time.

Actually I am satisfied with runner-up. The first 147 is a sweet memo.

I am just fine, dont worry about me. I wont let Ronnie feel easy next time. In upcoming next week Marta, i will play my best. I know lots of chinese fans were watching TV in midnight, thank you!

Thank you for translating ing, nice to have an insight on Ding's thoughts.

I like his attitude, I think it's healthy and I'm sure he will do what he says he will next time, he is such a determined man! I for one am looking forward to his matches in the Malta Cup.

      Thanks for translating
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Thanks for translating, ing. I tried to work this out earlier today by using a bablefish webservice but failed completely.

                  Thanks for the translation.

Ding Junhui is my favourite player and I almost cried (I say almost) watching the final last night.

Of course, I was backing Ding 100% and really wanted him to win and to be a test for Ronnie. A really nice moment where Ronnie higged and almost kissed Ding on his head. It showed that Ronnie was on Ding's side and had perhaps realised that he never got a chance. Plus the fact that he doesnt speak much English (although he is learning quickly!) and he is only 19 years old.

I am also happy to see that Ronnie also comforted Ding during the interval, and that they can practice together also. I really do hope they become great friends and that Ding learns a lot from the Rocket. No doubt, Ronnie played exceptionally well, but it would have been nice to see Ding continue his play like he did from the first two frames. I will look forward for new news on Ding.

I hope the audience can learn a thing or two from last night too.

You know they can. They really can.

                  I thank you for reading.

                  Simon

                    That's very nice to hear.

I'm eager to learn more about his personality, as it is very hard to pick up anything from his stone(d) mask that he usually wears on the table. Are there any other translations of his blog out there, is there no one who regularly translates his blog?

It is reassuring to know that Ding is feeling more positive. I look forward to seeing him back here and playing at the top level.

First i have heard of this. That would be amazing if Ding really is to practice with Ronnie. It could raise their standards even higher for both of them.

It would give Ding a huge advantage at the early stage of his career, to practice with a genius like Ronnie. Vice versa as well though, as Ding could help Ronnie keep sharp.
