I think he got 35000 for the max and 62000 for runner-up, £97k in total. Not bad at all. His disappointment was due to the high expectation that he had for himself.

that's for sure, every man in his age have same intention, but it is not always realistic to be "Mr Tiger Woods", I think nobody except him of course didnt expect him to win. From what I saw its rather we can expect new Rocket era, not Ding as I saw in some article....

Hi Cap! I see you are urging me to give some valuable feedback as quickly possible. Sorry for being mute the whole day. In fact I have read all reports I can reach from the China media, which are more or less the same as what have been translated by likes of Ing & Gensdon, etc.

I have to say that yesterday's incident makes me feel a bit disappointed, and even feel a bit sick of this sport - snooker. Right now I prefer to be silent myself and just sit here reading all the views and analysis presented by you genius mates in these threads. Once I find some really obvious fault or mistake stated which I cannot bear I will surely stand up and make it as clear as possible.

        Cheers!

I agree, well, snooker is not only a competition of technique, but also a psywar, abilities to fit in the match, and bringing into play as best as you can and so on. Assumin if you want to be an almighty or successful snooker player, you gotta possess 'high-blooded' temperation, esp. knowing that how to beat back someone's abuse with a 147 shot break.

Yeah, you're right,t88. Didn't really think about it at the time. But surely it was quite obvious that there wouldn't be much more than that.

Maybe Peter Ebdon have tought him to cry a little now and then .

It doesn't matter how good you are IF you can't handle IT when you lose.

Maybe someone should tell that to all the sore losers Ronnie O'Sullivan included.

                        Thanks for the post, ing!
Good to hear Ding is fine now and up for the next competition. I am sure next time he won't make it to easy for Ronnie!
I like his attitude , is the right one to have!
