After all, superior potting skills leave you at some stage of your career. At least, you're not going to constantly knock those impossible balls in. You hearing me, Judd?
I'm guessing this might even come sooner than everyone might think. Trump is on the crest of a wave, or has been...a bit less now. It remains to be seen how well he will cope with heavy setbacks and losses over the next couple of years...if that high confidence should leave him...hmm, who knows what will happen.

Ronnie Had a terrible safety game when he first started Ding, Jimmy White and Stephen Hendry have never been great safety Players

You think he may go the same way as Liang Wenbo

Btw have to agree Montoya...Ding big underachiever so far. Ronnie also, but to a lesser extent. Jimmy...well doesn't need mentioning he never made it world champion (almost singlehandedly thanks to Hendry).
Alex Higgins didnt have a good safety game and he won 2 world titles
Yeah, while talking about underachievers, we really shouldn't forget mentioning Alex.
The reason they are called underachievers is not the result of a judgement of their career achievements. But in terms of sheer talent, they were a notch above the rest, so, they were expected to win more than they did.
Big fan of these flair-comes-first style. But it has its own weaknesses.
All the way Mark J!!

I can't decide whether to hit Patsy Fagan or hug him...some of the time he annoys me to no end, other times he's rather amusing.
I take that back...Patsy Fagan is definately rather annoying. He's becoming more and more annoying...the guy just won't shut up for 1 second even. Eurosport...please send this guy home, do us all a favor. PLEASE!!!

Ding is still so young, but I expected more from him, that's why I call him an underachiever.
Ronnie had a tough field to dominate, which makes his case a bit weaker, as you said. Higgins, Williams, Ebdon, Doherty, Hendry (even not at his best, he was still a force in the late 90s), Hunter, Stevens, Dott..
New generation also proved some challenge, but I'm not going to write every one of them here

No surprise Hendry lost today. He's never going to beat Allen over 7 frames these days. The older players tend to start slower, so maybe over a longer match...
Hendry did, however, win two matches in this event. He won't be happy with it, but right now that's pretty good for him. That's how he should look at it.
Im gonna go Selby and Bingham as i always choose one favourite and one "upset" inverted commas are due to there being no such thing as an upset in the top 16 these days
