    • i fancy ronnie winning tonight, he still as a good record against selby, but looking at the stats, selby wins the close encounters, final frame deciders, so ronnie needs to build a lead and keep selby trailing.

well ronnie's certainly showed a very good temperament and is playing very good stuff at the moment, im hoping he can win this match tonight if he can keep cool with selby, if he does he must be hot favourite for the title, all the haters wrote him off but ron's on the way back yay !!!

He is already very close to be in, so, it looks a good possibility.
I'm looking forward to youngsters, actually. Michael White, Jack Lisowski and Liam Highfield. Hopefully, they will be able to make some progress next season.

Meanwhile, Ding makes a very good break out of Murphy's mistake. He moves back into the lead.

              We agree then.

Oh, you're absolutely right. He has had had some good results last season and he isn't any behind compared to those I mentioned in terms of talent (=
There is also Jak Jones, but he's too young for consideration at the time being, I guess.

Come on Ding. Good chance for an interval lead.

                  • Great to see Mark Davis's efforts bare fruit .....saw him play at Prestatyn once in the pro am and sort of followed his results since .....look a good few he has put the hours in .

Think winning the 6 reds boosted his confidence .

Can't wait for tonight ....hope Ronnie wins . Is it only me but has Selby dyed his hair ? Looks very dark .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                    • Ding held his nerve and now leads 3-1. He couldn't have wished for a better start.

                      • Quite a decent early lead for Ding then. Murphy's made a couple of mistakes and it's cost him. He's probably not going to win with two-visit snooker today.

                        • 3 - 1 to Ding then, but I think Murphy will be kicking himself.

Agreed. Not that he was kept away from the table from the beginning.
If he took his chances, that could have been 4-0 for him.

Would love to see all those kids deliver on the big stage at some point.

Now, Murphy with a very brave shot to keep his break going. Sure thing to cut the deficit back to one, now.
