I think it's always had both tables on the red button before.

If you look at the main bbc sport page you now have to go looking for the link to the snooker pages in "other sports", and the snooker page is clearly not being updated as often as in earlier years, and it hasn't even changed to the new design yet.

It looks to me like the beeb have deffo de-prioritised snooker coverage.

Hardly likely considering the whole world knows snooker is a growing sport. Just because blanket coverage sometimes isn't possible anymore, doesn't mean the BBC have lost interest in snooker. After all, they have a vested interest until at least 2014.

So that'll be why they ditched 25% of their nationally aired tournaments, by getting rid of the World Open then. Yeah, solid commitment there.

The BBC Have BBC3 and 4 that they could show daytime snooker after all those channels dont start to 7pm and the evening sessions could be shown on the childrens channels after they go offline

Channel 4 used to do this on film4 for the cricket

And highlights show tonight is only on for 40 mins, why ain;t it on the red button.... god sake, barry may aswell part the relationship he has with the beeb all together (what's left of it) if they are just gonna cut it short and not even show it on one of the 3 other channels or at least the red button.

Play a match for an hr and then interrupt it only not to show any more
