The reason they are called underachievers is not the result of a judgement of their career achievements. But in terms of sheer talent, they were a notch above the rest, so, they were expected to win more than they did.
Big fan of these flair-comes-first style. But it has its own weaknesses. All the way Mark J!!

Ronnie had a tough field to dominate, which makes his case a bit weaker, as you said. Higgins, Williams, Ebdon, Doherty, Hendry (even not at his best, he was still a force in the late 90s), Hunter, Stevens, Dott..
New generation also proved some challenge, but I'm not going to write every one of them hereAll the way Mark J!!

No surprise Hendry lost today. He's never going to beat Allen over 7 frames these days. The older players tend to start slower, so maybe over a longer match...
Hendry did, however, win two matches in this event. He won't be happy with it, but right now that's pretty good for him. That's how he should look at it.

Im gonna go Selby and Bingham as i always choose one favourite and one "upset" inverted commas are due to there being no such thing as an upset in the top 16 these daysGoddess Of All Things Cue Sports And Winner Of The 2012 German Masters and World Open Fantasy Games and the overall 2011-12 Fantasy Game
