Tickets go on sale on October 8th for The Crucible. Anybody thinking of going this year? It's always a good experience there, for those who haven't gone. And you get to meet and talk to a lot of the players.

ok got my tickets sorted now all i need to do is sort out the hotel anyone got any suggestions? were looking for something not to far off and half decent standard. last time we stayed in the travel lodge and it was nasty we had to move rooms it was manky.

Id try Jurys inn its not to far from the crucible and is preety decent. ive got mine tickets for the first round couldnt afford the booking fee for the semi final ! £35+£10 booking fee

Yeah it does seem to get a bit expensive, and if you add hotels etc. The guys who sit in the same seats for every match, every day from day one must spend a fortune!!

That's because it hasn't been decided yet. It can't be with the rolling rankings.

What he means is that the draw won't be made till March. The top 16 players will be drawn against 16 qualifiers.

Well yeah, that's what I mean, we won't know for sure completely who is top-16 and who isn't, due to the Rolling Rankings.
