Have a look at this link. At 40 quid for a session it looks a bit dear to me for a seat, a beer and a sanny! Might be worth it if it was later in the tournament but not for early rounds IMO. Anyone going to give it a go?

That seems like a fantastic deal. Can you really get £40 for a session of the final, plus all that?

Oh right, didn't read that properly. I thought you got a ticket for that as well.

Yeah no ticket included and the bar is just up the stairs next to the main bar, away from the atmosphere and all the other fans, no vips in that bar either so no chance of chatting with a player for your extra £40

You may as well goto the graduate and have a dog bowl and beer for a £5 where you will see players, referee's and officials and spend that extra £35 on more beer

These so called premium packages and hospitality packages World Snooker sell are crap and never sell huge numbers, I remember someone telling me that at one event they only sold 3

Now if they done a back stage tour on one of the three days where there is no play in the mornings so you can sit in a players seat, get your picture taken, see the backstage parts only the players and officials get to see like the actual players lounge upstairs not the one by the back door, the media center, the studio and practice tables then yeah £40 fine and maybe if you have a ticket for a early round what about the choice of a upgrade to a balcony seat or front row or even a guaranteed opportunity to get a signature from the player(s) you have tickets for on that day.

Last year was the first time I went to The Graduate. I'm a bit of a nerd and try to get three sessions of snooker in a day, so I do my drinking in the evening. Traditionally, I do it back at my hotel bar and talk to the other hotel guests, as they are all there to see snooker. The Graduate does seem a good place to socialise with the players though.

I went for the final last year, and Martin Gould was still hanging around, talking to the snooker fans.
