After the Masters I was quite convinced that it had to be either Trump or Robertson. Now I´m much in doubt. Stamina is probably a problem for Stephen Lee, and I doubt that O´Sullivan can keep his concentration for a whole tournament. Selby, Ding and Mark Allen could also be potential winners.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE

Real tough this year. Players like Higgins and Williams haven't really shown much form this season (albeit, Williams made two final apperances at the start of the season). Selby will probably go deep, with all the qualities he does have as a snooker player, he just doesn't win as much as he should.
Personally, I'm hoping for a Ding win. Higgins did a Welsh/WC double last season, hoping that Ding can do it this year. In saying that though, he does have an extremely tough draw - the bottom half looks tougher than the top.
For some reason, I think Maguire has a really good chance.

I say this every year but I think its probably the hardest draw ever to make a prediction. You can literally make a case for at least 10 players to have a possibility to win it.
For what its worth I think the winner will come from the bottom half of the draw. Can't believe nobody is giving Ebdon a mention here, he's just won in China and has a great record at the crucible. And nobody and I mean nobody will relish playing him.
