        Group 1
        (1) John Higgins (Sco)
        (16) Stuart Bingham (Eng)
        (9) Graeme Dott (Sco)
        (8) Stephen Maguire (Sco)
        (5) Shaun Murphy (Eng)
        (12) Stephen Lee (Eng)
        (13) Ali Carter (Eng)
        (4) Judd Trump (Eng)

        Group 2
        (3) Mark Williams (Wal)
        (14) Ronnie O’Sullivan (Eng)
        (11) Martin Gould (Eng)
        (6) Neil Robertson (Aus)
        (7) Ding Junhui (Chn)
        (10) Mark Allen (NIrl)
        (15) Matthew Stevens (Wal)
        (2) Mark Selby (Eng)

Mark Allen looks like a good choice to me.

I had a tenner on Stephen Lee at 66/1 just before the PTC so I hope he comes good.

If I had to put myself on the line, I'd back Neil Robertson. Never seems to get rattled and that tends to prove just as important as form in the longer matches.

Ding vs Murphy final, Ding ftw :snooker:

Biggest problem with Neil is that sometimes he can be too confident and loose to a much lower ranked player than him by simply dismissing how good the lower ranks are these days and not being well prepared for a match.

I think Carter, Dott, Stevens and Ding will be the seeds to be knocked out by qualifiers this year.

I think Carter will be a seed to miss out for sure but I doubt heavily that Ding and Dott will.

Unsure about Stevens as he's pretty much been hit an miss in his matches this season. Plays one bad match and one good one. But with the first round being a longer format than other tournaments, he may have enough.

Hendy might have a good run should he qualify.

Why does it have to be seeded? I was going to guess John Parrott.

Some great ties in the qualifiers potentially.

Anyone give the young Belgian lad any chance of navigating McCulloch, Pinches, Holt and King?

I rate the Woolaston, Davis, Dale draw as the most interesting.

Brecel is a great talent, but doesn't have the experience to get through that four, in my opinion. Maybe in a couple of years.

McCulloch needs the ranking points to stay on tour, wouldn't be surprised if he wins all 4 matches to get to the Crucible.

It would be easier to pick a winner if everyone wasn't so bloody good.

                              Someone needs to say something!
