Unsure about Stevens as he's pretty much been hit an miss in his matches this season. Plays one bad match and one good one. But with the first round being a longer format than other tournaments, he may have enough.

Hendy might have a good run should he qualify.
if Carter does lose hes out of the sixteen i Think hes the only member of that club who is definately out in a first round defeat

I think a qualifier will win it this year, and hopefully that qualifier will be a certain....with a bit of luck that is.

Fancy davis to win it too, but im hoping white can get through to meet him in final, hopefully. Would be a classic.

I reckon now Ebdon has the confident, he'll be up there? But I'm always gonna say Judd for the world!

Goodness Kellie, you never told me you'd been held at gunpoint! Are you ok?

my prediction is a trump osullivan final and of course o'sullivan has never lost a best of 35 match

very much doubt Gould the last few tournaments hes been appauling

I've been expecting Selby to win it since his losing final, to be honest, but he;s made little headway in ranking events so I'm no longer sure. I havee wondered about Lee, who seems rejuvenated since the PTCs came in, but he seems to fade toward the end of major tournaments, so Idunno. Wouldn;t be at all surprised to see Higgins retain - I just hope it's not a boring tournament after the electricity of last year.

It's hard to say, but but I could see Ronnie finishing runner up this year, every other player in his class, Davis, Hendry, Higgins, have all lost in the final, which Ronnie has yet to do. Might be his time. Judd is the favorite for a reason, he's the best player at the moment, but it's an amazing field this year, Mark Allen has picked up his game and has played some great stuff this season.

I don't fancy the older set this year(with ROS the possible exception) Selby, Judd, Ding, Allen.

Ronnie is not the same, and the final is unlikely to come! Although ......

to stay in the top 16 with the amount of tournys Ronnie has missed this season is a testament of how good he still is
