Sullivan is the best odds for ages, 7-1, bookies will probably take in a rake on that one

Ebdon is good value at 66-1

A shame that O´Sullivan and Ebdon will meet each other in the first round. But nice with a good match with lots of history already from first round.

            Now, imagine this scenario:
Shake off fever. Win a ranking event. Miss couple of events. Shake off fever. Come back. Win the world title. Retire.

            Would be something to watch.
            All the way Mark J!!

Ding for me. Unlucky to lose to Judd in last years semi, played really well. That experience will help him and i think it's his time.

Think Dotts great value @50s.Most open WCs I can remember, can make positives and negatives for most of them.Of the more likely winners still think Higgins is the man to beat at the Crucible

MJW will win it all! All he needs to do is to make it past to the quarters by beating Ronnie. That joy and confidence alone would propel him to the title

I favour Robertson, i think the pressure is off him and he's out for blood

Judd won't win, the pressure to replicate last year's run will best him

Ding is next favourite for me. He has matured mentally the last few years and he is as solid as anyone

I went into a chemist and asked for a deodorant, the assistant said "ball, stick or aerosol", "No, I want it for under my arms!" was my reply.

I'd like to see Ding win too, I think he's been on the cusp of a big one for a while now, it just feels likely. Much like Selby IMO. They both just need to keep it together for the whole distance. Selby almost made it a few years back, but lost to Higgins in the final. IIRC that one really could have gone either way, especially when Higgins appeared to be struggling through the middle of the match. He came back, as he often does, because Selby couldn't seem to quite get right on top of him and keep him off the table and down.

Just a phrasing issue in regards to Ding, you say "he's been on the cusp of a big one for a while now," he has won two UKs and the Masters, but I do know what you mean.

In regards to Selby. You would find it hard to argue that he wasn't the best player in 2009, 2010 and 2011. 8 centuries in the 2011 tournament and he 'only' made it to the quarters, new crucible and best of 25 record against Hendry and he embarrased J. Robertson. In 2009 I had the feeling that he was going to break Hendry's most centuries at the Crucible record.

If he gets a slow start and still manages to progress through to the quarters or semi's, I think he would be a good chance - a bit like Williams at the 2010 UKs. he seems to peak too early.
