  • Limited Red Button coverage?

    According to the BBC website, there isn't going to be much Red Button coverage of this event;

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/16659380

    Anybody heard about this? It seems only to be on the Red Button from 10am - 2pm every day. Maybe this is an error on the part of the website. But it does seem rather poor.

          I watched last year's WC on Freesat HD / Freeview HD on the red button and it showed 90% of the games especially the evening sessions live as BBC2 only shows 1 to 1.5 hours worth live if that! You can even choose which table to watch!

            That's got to be a misprint, surely. It's just too outrageous, even for the BBC.
            They're always getting the schedule messed up, that'll be it. *prays fervently*

              BBC red button doesn't work in Belgium... Push the button and nothing happens...
              We're lucky to have Eurosport, and hope there will be much coverage on there (but they already announced that, so it'll be okay).

                agreed, thank god for eurosport, and they dont leave matches when in the final frame to put bloody hairy bikers show their sweaty backsides somewhere crap on....

                  Really? I don't actually remember that.

                    Maybe it's different if you're not on Freeview. I'm with Virgin. (Insert your own jokes here.) I don't remember my Red Button being a problem at all last year. Though I did watch the morning of the Royal Wedding on Eurosport, because I figured the BBC had more 'important' things to be dealing with on that day.
