Some great draws there. Trump v Dale will be interesting. Needless to mention O'sullivan v Ebdon, great first round :snooker:

My thoughts exactly. I said to both my mates yesterday that Ronnie will draw Ebdon! Cannot for the life of me see Ronnie beating him the form Ebdon is in and the fact Ebdon knows how to do a number on him, especially in the longer frame matches. Just wait to see what odds Ebdon is and I'll be putting on a minimum wager of £50 on this.

It had to happen didn't it? O'Sullivan managed to get Maguire twice, Ding, Liang and Ebdon in recent years, when they were the most dangerous qualifiers.

I'm quite happy in general, as I don't like to see the best qualifiers paired with the best seeds. Other than O'Sullivan-Ebdon, there is no really strong pairing. And even here you could argue that O'Sullivan is not among the top seeds anyway.

This is the first time I have looked at a Crucible draw and not seen a dead-cert thrashing jump out at me.

COuld be a very good first round.

Feel for Hendry, manages to avoid all the big names only to draw the guy that has a nasty habit of beating him at Sheffield.

Looking forward to see how Luca Brecel, Cao Yupeng and Jamie Jones handle the pressure of the Crucible. Tie of the round and most intriguing match looks to be O'Sullivan v Ebdon..

I really hope Ronnie just laughs about it and trys to dictate the match.
But actually it's probably more likely that he freaks and looses a thrilling 9-10 match after 15 hours just to retire afterwards.
