I too am hoping he does well at The Crucible, first match agains John Higgins won't be easy though, a tough draw!
Me too, hope he does well. He surely deserves it imo. I always have thought of him, and also John Higgins for that matter, to be rather wise economically, although Stephen does like his comforts (Ferrari, nice watches). John on the other hand bought his parents a new house with his first big paycheck if I remember correctly. Now that's the way to do it! A far cry from Trump's new Aston Martin and now a new Ferrari...crazy!

For a seasoned campaigner like Stephen Hendry, this will be a cinch! Remember too that he'll most probably travel first class so he should be getting plenty of rest.

Hendry will still win. He'll fly business class and get a bed on board. He's not daft. Good article btw
                  Always a pleasure

The story is in relation to ex-footballer and Scotland captain, Colin Hendry. Sloppy journalism calling him Stephen.

Maybe it´s Colin Hendry who´s playing against Jimmy White

I'm sure the Flight attendants in first class will look after a famous sportsperson like Hendry very well

Still not a good idea traveling so close to the WC, especially the first round. Hendry has always struggled in the first round.

Not very wise but for those of us who are used to travel a lot, we know it's easier to absorb the jet when travelling from East to West than the opposite. Plus he'll get some first class sleep during the flight. I think he'll be OK. I hope so anyway....

Paul Hunter had plan B in his hotel room, King Hendry shall turn to his mile high club in his first class seat.

Sleep or no sleep, he's still travelling halfway around the world. Even going first class in every way will still tire you out. Walking, waiting around, stress, carrying bags, figuring out times etc... And all this less than 24 hours before going into the Crucible.

But you never know - it may work to his advantage. Davis did a similar thing with the first TV 147... he said he was so jet-lagged and tired that he didn't worry about any shot and felt no nerves...
