Hendry was on TalkSport the other night speaking from China.
He said he is out there playing Chinese pool in his exhibitions, and won't be playing any snooker until he gets back this afternoon and gets straight on the practice table!
He claimed he'd prepared perfectly for all the tournaments this season, and it hadn't done him any good...so maybe this will be an improvement. lol

if something dont work then try something new in 1982 Steve Davis did his one and only 147 while jet lagged.

Great to see Hendry cueing so well. He made a number of tough pots at the start of the break when he was out of position.
Joking aside, I wonder if there's something in this jet-lag thing? Maybe it can help a player get in the zone mentally? I seem to remember seeing an interview with Steve Davis where he said that he can't remember much about his 147 and was just playing on instinct because he was so tired...

Haha I knew this thread would get lit up.
Hendry was simply unstoppable today. Like in a time machine, he had that look in his eyes...that glaze he used to get when he just steamrolled everybody. He didn't even have his usual letdown in the middle of the session. Great all around performance.
So fun to watch.

Funny on hindsight, but I sort of knew he had the maximum on his mind already when he went for a tough red to middle very early in the frame if I remember. Just had that gut feeling and I'm glad I stuck with it and witnessed it live!John Lim
