when Ronnie's focused he's quite capable of scrapping a match out, he doesnt have to be massively fluent, just focused to be up for a fight, he can certainly play safe!!!

Well played O'Sullivan, got a tricky 1st round match out of the way. You would think he needs to play better to really challenge for the title though, Ebdon didn't really put him under much pressure.

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm immensely looking forward to fridays' matchup between two of the alltime greats Higgins and Hendry. Two of my very favorite players to watch as well..it does not get any better than that!

I don't understand all the Trump-hating? Okay, personality-wise he might have a lot to learn, but watching him play snooker is ruddy entertaining. Why would people want his skill out of the tournament so early? And so what if he's hungover? Alex Higgins used to play still p*ssed!

Of course , anyway Trump is by far the more talented player of the 2 and able to produce much better and more entertaining snooker so I really hope he wins this. A benchmark final between Trump and ROS is still possible
