Martin Gould gets his first frame on the board then.... winning the fourth frame in 2 visits.

Personally surprised Gilbert has started so well, but then again he's in some of the best form in his career - Higgins looking like leading 3-1 at the MSI - without playing ultimately spectacular snooker.

pretty sad to see Wenbo having no answers for Higgins' D game ... Wenbo is a shadow of himself .. he was so exciting to watch when he first rose to prominence ... He was a much better potter at least ... I don't really see what he has improved. He only has lost the one thing that he did have -> potting ability

Gilbert is a fluent player and Gould is quite low on confidence. Gould would surely do well to go past Gilbert. Not too sure of Gilbert's mental side though.

Gilbert has always been a great breakbuilder with little or no safety ability hes just playing his normal game lol

If u'd backed the over 2.5 century breaks or equavalent depending on betting site, then ud be pretty annoyed at Gilbert there! He's doing great though, Higgins doing what he needs to, a win is a win is a win!!
