I am not comparing him to Higgins. Just saying all the issues I am seeing in his game. I find the Chinese lot much better than Luca in the 'Matchplay' department. What disappoints me is that Luca played at least 5 times better than this performance in his qualifiers. I expected him to save the best for the big stage but it is quite the opposite so far and that too when Maguire is missing sitters.

Completely normal...it's a big occassion for Luca. One he has never experienced before...takes a while to get used to.

Luca is really suffering out there at the moment , lots and lots of schoolboy errors mixed in with no having the rub of the green

Really tough now at 6-1 behind...with Luca playing like he has done, and making too many mistakes, I can't really see Maguire not getting through to the next round relatively easy now. But let's see what happens....

I think Luca's played pretty well and he's been quite unlucky on a few occasions. The plant was pure frustration combined with maybe an element of trying to get the cue balll up the table. Overall despite the scoreline i am impressed with him.
