Btw nice piece on Shaun Murphy's WC from 2005...always the gentleman.
Also nice to see the conclusion of the Gilbert-Gould match, which I hadn't seen. David was so happy that he punched the air after a fluke that effectively won him the match. You could see him regretting that immediately and apologising to Gould after the match finished. Nice fellow he seems David...I had never seen him before.

If it had been based on Guodong's total (64th place on two year list), or in fact even Paul Davidson's last season total (lowest ranked PTC qualifier except Igor), then Cao would jump to at least 62nd if he beat Allen and on the tour still.
It would also mean that David Morris, Sam Craigie and Luca Brecal would also have survived as Yan and Morris would have made top 64 giving Craigie and Brecal the PTC places (or possibly Wattana would have survived via PTC).

-The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

The ref needs to have some bottle and sort out the crowd on the Murphy Jones table, every shot nearly it's noise and laughter, for goodness sake folks there's another match on, I can understand a funny moment but this is a bit of a mickey take, meanwhile Allen is as good as out, Cao with another century, very impressive stuff from him!

Would like to see what all the hubbub was about...seemed like something pretty funny was going on there...
