Mark Allen is one of those people who could start a fight in an empty house.

In the last year he's slagged off Stuart Bingham, Barry Hearn, Neil Robertson, Hainan Island (where he win the world open)
and now the Chinese (all of them). Apparently he also has some sort of long running feud with Ken Doherty, one of the most likeable men on the circuit.

Think he might have an attitude problem.

I agree completely. Haven't heard the soundbite yet, but if indeed Allen is calling out Cao or even worse all Chinese players as a whole, then I for one am glad to see him loose...very bad loser indeed! He needs to buy some scotch tape and tape that trap of his shut tight.

The guy is really starting to get on my nerves and worse, a discredit to the sport. What a complete muppet!

But honestly "maybe it's a Chinese thing" is a pretty ignorant and offensive generalisation to make.

Having watched it, my take on it is as follows :

- Mark gives Cao all credit for winning, he thought it was deserved.
- further in the interview he starts getting the point out about the foul, criticizing Cao for not calling it on himself.
- then he goes on accusing chinese players in general of cheating.

Although I give him credit for calling Cao the deserved winner, he needs to be reprimanded for the 2 comments, or at the very least for accusing chinese players of foul play. I can't believe he did that.

On to both matches of the moment...

So if (yes, if...you never know with Hendry nowadays) Hendry goes through, he'll meet Higgins in the second round...wow!
That is some prospect to look forward to, a blast from the past as it were, although they never played each other in the WC.
But since both players are definately not on the top of their game, it might make for a tense and eventful affair.

Bingham takes the first 2 frames...3-8. Hendry has not potted a ball effectively. If Stuart can win 2 more in a row, then Hendry will start sweating.

I thought Mark Williams' comment on Crucible was somewhat wrong and faulty language.
While I think he will probably get fined for it and that's probably the fair thing to do, at least, it's just a venue that he had an expletive word on.
Mark Allen has exceeded his limits far too much recently. That's his second on Chinese people. It's sad that this kind of temperament only gets on his way to block his further progress as a snooker player.
I hope he at least offers an apology once he calms down.

Don't quite get what's up with the players all of a sudden that more and more players showing more explicit tension towards media.
