Yes, you've got to run Trump into the ground and bury him, so that one day he might start toning down some of his remarks.

It was what crossed my mind as well. Being favourite with the bookies, all the expectation etc, can't be something anyone would relish really. According to RSummers, he tweeted to Steve Davis that Judd was alright, just hungover lol! Now whether or not that is in jest, it does look more to me that he isn't ill and that he does look like he's suffering a hangover. Perhaps he thought this match would just be a walk in the park. Schoolboy error if true.

Interesting session, looked like another two seeds were in trouble, but less so now. Trump in particular got away with a fairly poor session. On the other hand, Ding has left himself a lot to do from here. It was an open game, and with Day playing fairly well, it was always going to be tricky for Ding.

I don't understand all the Trump-hating? Okay, personality-wise he might have a lot to learn, but watching him play snooker is ruddy entertaining. Why would people want his skill out of the tournament so early? And so what if he's hungover? Alex Higgins used to play still p*ssed!

Well sadly due to work I have not watched anything today so far...Trump did get the better of Dale eventually it seems, that's a shame, I would have liked to see Dale go through to the next round. Hopefully Dom can make the 2nd session count someway later on.

Ebdon now 8-2 behind...can't see him catch Ronnie. Too bad this has been a rather one-sided affair.

The Allen controversy rolls on steadily...very curious to hear what the disciplinary hearing decides eventually. With not even an apology from Allen, and reading the reactions of Hearn in the paper, he might expect something rather severe. I hope so...this time he clearly has gone too far, I have lost all respect for him. Too bad really.

I know I cant understand why anyone doesnt find him entertaining and would want him beat, he's great for the game!! I think some people dont like to see inexperienced players doing well, they'd rather see experienced players, which is a shame that they cant appreciate sheer ability and a good safety game that Trump has!
