Excellent Robertson counter-strike, can Gilbert respond?

That thin cut on the black by Robertson was first class. If he If he sustains this type of form he has shown in the last four frames tommorrow, you can only see him running away with the match..

Excellent stuff from Robertson, great response after going behind early. He is looking good. Perhaps too good at this stage of the championship...

I didn't care for that red along the cushion in the penultimate frame though. If the pockets are going to accept those, they're a bit too generous for my taste.

This pub quiz thing the BBC are doing is embarrassing.

                Haha, very good.

                Or what about,

Virgo: "Ay luv, I can only find brown bread...." All together now....

Yes, surely they can provide something more interesting to fill the time than this dribble..

Robertson is looking good, perhaps the best player so far.
But we have come to know that looking good at the early stages is nothing.
                    All the way Mark J!!

Am I the only one who is getting a bit annoyed with Neil's complaints about some small noise or movement that put him off, while often it seems to be more like he is finding an excuse for a badly hit shot? I don't know, something that has caught my eye over the past 2 years or so. It's like he's gone a tad high&mighty imo. His change in walk-on music from the wonderful 'Down under' to some stupid heroic Gladiator-type movie-score since he won the WC 2 years ago has not favored Neil to me neither. I used to really like him...he was a real down to earth kinda guy.

Anyway...watching the taped session only now as I just got back from work.

Goes without saying then that I'm rooting for David...

I thought we had more or less settled on one thread per morning/noon/evening session? That way we have all discussion together on both matches that are played at the same time...anyhow, would have liked it that way.

One of those sessions both players can be happy about - Robertson for playing well, and Gilbert for staying in the match.

Oh, my bad. Just didn't follow the thread quite well to get a hold of the consensus. Anyway, we can switch to your opinion as early as possible, I think.

No problem Maybe you are right though, I'm not sure. My personal preference would definately be a thread per session. But I'll go along happily with the majority of course...

I'm fine with either option, as well.
Separated threads may end up bringing along further confusion. But managing threads per session may be tougher, as thread names would be something like April 27th, Morning Session Discussion.
I'm not so sure which one is better. One way or another, we still discuss and in the end, that's what matters the most (=
