everyone who thinks that hendry gonna win this lives in a dreamworld
he hasnt any kind of tournament for 7 years. and he should win the WC straight away. no chance.
maguire, trump or neil will him easly
You can never discount anyone - they are all good enough to win it - Hendry has played very poor tonight and still won the session 7-1 against one of the best in the world. Snooker is a funny old game (I agree I don't think he will win though )
Struggling with the game currently, after 6 years away from it.

trump maybe, but maguire wont if hendry shows up, your talking as if maguire is playing fantastic like robertson, at least he's playing very well, maguire is so hit and miss, its gonna be very close between those 2, it doesnt matter whether he hasnt done anything in 7 years, if he's playing pretty well or better, and believes then it can happen for him, if he plays like he did this morning on a regular basis, ie 2 sessions in every match then he has a chance of winning it, id still have money on robertson or ronnie, but dont just write off hendry!
12-4 and had he won the close frame he would have won the match wow
the scoreline is really flattering
I don't think the scoreline is flattering at all. Stephen was struggling tonight but that's quite possibly the worst session of snooker John has ever player. Only 1 break over 40 (a 41) since frame 5 of the match isn't going to win frames against anyone, even a struggling Stephen Hendry. John was lucky to get a frame IMHO.
I doubt many people expected Hendry to get to the final in 2002 having won only one title in the previous years but he got all the way to the final and was within one frame of winning it. If he'd potted that long blue in the final frame maybe he would have eight titles now.
its just really good to see higgins suffer
made my day!
Is he suffering though? With a performance like that, you really do have to wonder what's going on. I'm willing to bet there's plenty folk on here thinking "dodgy"
I am ridiculously happy to see Hendry leading, but he'll have to play a lot better to get any further than beating Higgins. And I can see Higgins pulling back a few frames from this one too, he's not usually one to be counted out.
