Atrocious crowd for a last 16 World Championship match.
Yes, it wasn't a frame of the highest quality, but still, no response to the frame ball??
    All the way Mark J!!

A miss often never costs Trump the frame, as we saw many times against Dale. In fact, Trump probably gets away with more wild misses than Hendry ever did.

If that's true, what do you think is the cause?

Some more awful snooker for us as a speciality. This is going to end up as a pretty dull session.

Probably his reputation. Players are under more pressure playing against him.

I think it's shaping up to be very interesting.

The two players are just getting a feel for the match. It's 35 frames.

Why do people these days expect fireworks from Frame 1? That's not how snooker works usually. A great match always bubbles up slowly.

true, but if u'd revolutionised your sport, known that you could be the best if you played your way (Hendry long red clear up philosophy), and stuck to your guns, then the killer iinstinct would have to be there to be able to play like that almost all the time, most players dont think like that of course, but the same as Brdman Taylor J. Khan (squash) and other sporting all time greats, Hendry is not a normal sportsman with a normal sporting mentality, he's done great to get back to 2 all, I fancied the first century that he missed the green on!

"now now now" culture? Have patience people, it's not 20 20 cricket, 9 ball pool or power snooker!!
