Good to see Day get another frame on the board, I don't want to see him completely lose his way in this session or less he'd end upsetting hammered.

I am neutral here though so I want to see a close match.

yeah, watching with my bro and he noticed, that, very strange with the cue marks too, a real character it appears! Ryan needed that break, excellent reply, looked like the match was well in the balance but he now has some sort of lead again!

What a crucial frame that could turn out to be. Cao could have won it in one visit after Day's miss, but it doesn't matter in the end, a scrappy win is just as good.

That's the difference between a player like Cao and someone whos been there at the top before, and gone deep in tournaments, like Neal Foulds said, proper class!

This is it for Cao, if he loses this frame he loses the match I think, all his hard work at the start of this session will be undone, he HAS to win this frame!!

Must be hard to take too, missing such an easy pot

This is really surprising, judging by his start today I expected him to be 9-7 up or at least 8-8, but his effort this morning seems to have gone to waste as he could still be 4 frames down by the end.

It really is a wasted chance for Cao this morning, he could have won the session 6-2 and made it 8-8, if not better. But if he wins the last frame, he will still have done good work and given himself a good chance in the final session.

Cao did the minimum, could have won the session 6 2 but will be semi happy with 5 3, losing that last frame would have been disastrous, is he makes a decent start tonight like goes 2 1 up then it's all to play for!

Well Ryan threw that last frame away, so Cao now got a real chance of winning this

Yes, it's set up nicely for the final session. I think the first frame will be crucial. If Cao can win it, the pressure will be on Day.

No matter how error-prone Day is, I still back him against Cao so that we can at least have a proper quarter-final match.
That said, even Day won't provide much of a challenge against Stevens should he come through.
