Williams looks to be already feeling the pressure. I just hope O'Sullivan doesn't run away with this match.

Ronnie gives Mark a chance and Mark keeps himself cool to take it. 2-2 now.
A couple of mistakes here and there, but overall, this is shaping up as a nice match so far.
        All the way Mark J!!

I was just thinking "here we go" when O'Sullivan was in the balls for 3-1. I kind of expected Williams to bottle it, but he made a lovely clearance. Should give him confidence to stick with O'Sullivan now.

To be fair, Mark gave Ronnie quite a bit of chances so far, and got punished in frame 2 and frame 3, especially in frame 2, where he could get going and steal the frame by coming from behind. Ronnie served him back there though, in the fourth.

2-2 is good result for Williams, I think he's a huge underdog here. He has to take every chance he gets.

Mark is beginning to settle into his groove here. Takes the lead back with some fine matchplay snooker.

At least Mark will still be in the match come end of session, still think 4 all will be the score, still some quality snooker scoring and safety play going on though!!

i even fancy ronnie from 2-6 down

mark isnt know as a good front runner nowadays and he hasnt won a proper match against ronnie for 10 years

That's 2 frame balls Ronnie has missed now. I don't think either MJW and ROS are as good under pressure as they used to be. Both miss a lot of easy balls.
