why didnt players forget these kind of things quickly and remind them that there is a long way to go. like ronnie did after williams stolen him a frame. think experince makes the difference
one frame shouldnt make a difference at all in best of 25
that's the difference between being a great player and a very good one, the mental side, all have the skill, but not all have that rock solid belief and ability to produce under pressure that sets the greats from the good!

excellent from higginson, really needed that break, I think he has to win this last frame to stand a realistic chance going into tomorrow!

Could tell Jones had got it when it was halfway to the blue spot, great double at the end! Jones was the better player in that session

i wouldnt say that, it was a semi easy double at pro level, well played though, pleased for him he looked much more comfortable and loved being out there!! That could turn the match in his favour now

doubles and plants are more common nowadays than 10 years ago

a shot of a tournament or in the list of shots of tourney should be exceptional shots, from that position any player on tour would expect to find the jaws or get that double, I'd expect to get close, its only just on the left hand side as he saw it, good double under pressure, he's on for a shed load of ranking points and money now, good luck to the lad I enjoy watching him!!

                        Not really.
Edit: I'm pretty sure I've seen a Cliff Thorburn (of all people) instructional video from the 80s talking through how to make doubles and plants. And Taylor went for a double on the last black in '85!

what a mid session interval can do

                            before jones found everything difficult

after the MSI he is a totally diffrent man

This reminds me of the Ding-Selby match last year. I think that one was 10-6 as well, with Selby winning the first four frames of the final session. But when the pressure was back on, Ding pulled away to win. Jones is doing something similar at the moment.
