I'm having problems watching this on my laptop, neither table is working, I'm getting the bbc site with a lot of stories on and no the usual 2 windows with each game in one of them? I'm using Google Chrome. . . any suggestions?
What exactly are you trying to watch?! Games start at one o'clock (your time).
I would say the percentages are 62% chance of a Maguire win and 38% for a Hendry win. I agree the first session is key for Hendry, he has to be leading or even at worst
Hendry's first session against Bingham is the second best snooker played at this championship, second only to Ronnie's second session against Williams
I just hope Hendry using some constraint as to when he "pushes the boat out" which seems to be a favourite saying of the commentators

His "pushing the boat out" seems to indicate confidence on his part, if he stops doing it I think it'll all be downhill from there for him.. that said, you're right, if he doesn't show any restraint at all he could well gift too many frames to Maguire. But he could just as easily lose it by not taking his chances.

Just from a viewing point and no bias Hendry's 2 matches have been poor,I doubt Wenbo would have been as crap as Higgins and Wenbo really should have won the 19th frame to make a better 2nd round match. If Maguire plays well and Hendry wins this would have to be his best win at the Crucible since beating O'S in 02,or arguably Doherty 02 or Allen 08.
The nostalgia factor makes you forgot about how ugly the snooker may get, you just want to see the result
Davis, White, Hendry even Doherty nowadays, they have done enough in and for this sport to earn themselves excessive crowd support. For Davis and Hendry, must be really sweet because they weren't that popular when they were at the top
Well you never know which Hendry turns up nowadays. If he brings in the form of his first session against Stu and frustrates Maguire, then it will be an easy win for him. In the worst case scenario he keeps on missing a lot of easy balls, and then Maguire will wipe him out.
I'm really looking forward to this match.
There is no other way Maguire could be this hungry for a tournament win again.
Good season. No titles. Two finals. No titles. Great talent. No World titles. And the draw is opened up with Higgins out.
I don't think Maguire will let it go easily. Not when there's so much at stake. So, even if Hendry is going to win this one, he'll have to pull out a close victory. Unlike his first two wins, where his opponents played pretty poor snooker.
I expect a scoreline of 13-9 to Maguire, but you never know.
All the way Mark J!!
