I doubt he'll retire after this because it would look like a case of throwing his toys out of the pram, plus everyone will try to convince him otherwise, mainly because of the 147 and knocking out Higgins.
But next season, if he carries on dropping down the rankings then I think it'll be time for him to call it a day!Last edited by cueman; 1 May 2012, 07:30 PM.

I feel for him, it must be very hard to take...not being able to push yourself to play at the top-level and compete when behind anymore. Very sad to see, I must say.
But...Maguire is playing marvelous snooker, as he has been doing all season really. I would love to see Maguire win this WC.
