    • I think we should all try to appreciate Stephen Maguire, because there will never be another player like him. I can't see anyone else ever banging their cue at 11-1 up, except when missing out on a 147 perhaps.

        Indeed (=
Ronnie O'Sullivan probably does it, too. Inside his head..

          • Only once in Crucible history a quarterfinal match ended 13-2, the biggest margin a player won a match....in 1984 Kirk Stevens beat Ray Reardon 13-2...let see if Maguire can do it again this year...

            • Quite dissapointed in this, I'm going down to Sheffield tomorrow and have afternoon tickets on the table 1 side and won't get any snooker on that side, at least match on other side is a bit special.

                  • The king of the crucible was naked today.....Maguire equals Kirk Stevens and gets the biggest winning margin in a quarterfinal...13-2.

Oh yes, he is in a perfect position at the moment. Three big wins, still completely fresh, so unless he is really pushed all the way in the semi-finals, I think he has just become the man to beat. Especially if Robertson and O'Sullivan stay close.

                          13-10 Hendry.
Well this optimism certainly left me disappointed.

                          • I dont think the session to spare will make too much difference, I still think Robertson or O'Sullivan will win the title, Maguire may well make the final though, he's playing lovely at the moment!Well played to him, unlucky Stephen, must be gut wrenching for him!
