Ronnie O Sullivan v Neil Robertson - Quarter Final
You'll put the kiss of death on him judging by your past predictions!
I hope not, I don't like to be wrong...
I got 2 out of 3 for O'Sullivan in this event, 3 out of 4 if he beats Stevens. And also 3 out of 4 quarter-finals, so it's not that bad. Don't ask me about the 1st round though...
Ronnie's post match PC. He was asked about Hendry's retirement and said he wasn't suprised because of the schedule, then said there might be 1 or 2 more players retiring - anyone else think he might be talking about himself? It might explain his attitude in this event aswell. 1 last hurrah.
I did wonder myself during the last few frames whether he's on the verge of finally quitting, but I hope it's just Steve Peters' influence. If he does play on, Hendry's centuries record, thought untouchable a few years ago, is likely to get obliterated as O'Sullivan pushes the bar further towards a thousand.

He'll probably have to play on another 3-4 years to beat Hendry's centuries record. Can't see it myself.
I've got a nagging feeling that he'll retire after this tournament.
I think the players he ment was Carter and himself.
Carter because of his medical condition and himself because he doesn't enjoy it anymore. (And because of all those tournaments outside the UK)
If he wins the WC I cannot see him play on. He and his ego would really love to go out with a bang, and this is probably the last chance he has to do so.

Not meant to sound as a Hendry bash, who am I to do so,but if O'S is only 100 behind Hendry's century record then he's kind of surpassed it anyway because if you analyze his career he was way way less fastidious about getting them than Hendry.
i bet my dog that he wont retire
Two legends going out at the same tournament?
Now, that would really be some buzz Ronnie would love to create. Most successful and naturally gifted players hanging their cue after the same tournament..
That would really be more like Ronnie O'Sullivan.
All the way Mark J!!
