He should just take a break from it for a while and then make a comeback

Yes Hendry is a Real Legend of the Game of Snooker, But I do see his Point of View as he is Very competitive and if he cannot win Tournys just entering isnt good enough as we all know at lower level its bad enough if We Cannot Win!.
I cannot beleive the Way he Played today against Maguire Worst for a Very Long time! And Missed so many easy Balls Including that Pink which he was right behind and black on Spot and he didnt even rattle Pink!
And now the Questions Start How on Earth did he Beat Higgins 13-4?? And Yes there are lots of Talking of a Dive from Higgins in Some Bookmakers! May come out in Paper may Not? SSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHLast edited by gazza147; 1 May 2012, 10:15 PM.

So, a decision made months ago, eh? It must be tough for him to play every match, every frame and in the very end, every shot as possibly his last.
I've been watching snooker for a decade from now. So, I never saw him playing in his heyday. But even in the early 2000s, Hendry's determination and winning attitude was so apparent that I never quite liked him, as a fan of golden generation from 1992.
But I know that this is what makes you a great champion. You'll have many fans and fans of other players won't really like you.
Hats off to Hendry. It's hard to find someone who will look back at his career and find very little to regret about, if he finds any, of course.
Ive been watching snooker 24 years, I'm 29, lifelong fan, I can remember watching in 87 88 Doug Mountjoy, Dean O'Kane and others, just as Hendry started to rise and Davis tried to cling on, one of my sporting heroes, see my previous post on page 1! Very sad, but pleased he's doing what he thinks is right!
