Another close frame, and once again Carter wins it. He could have been four behind himself had Maguire taken his chances in the closer frames.

And Maguire was in with that 40 break... Maybe it's even better that the frame went on for so long after that, he has probably forgotten that break by now.

Doggonit! This is not looking well for a close match any longer should Carter go 12-7 in front. And indeed a anticlimax Final then looks very real to me...damn, I really hate it when that happens at the end of 17 days of great snooker feast!

if he had taken them he would have had carter all the match along as he is a very emotional player

True, Ronnie has some kind of hold over Ali, but what a stage to turn it around on! Ali is a better player than he was a few years ago too.
