Wow....can't believe how lucky Stevens has been here. Missed 3 reds, with Ronnie only needing one, but he's got each one safe.
62-0 down, two frames in a row. If Stevens wins this....
Ronnie should have wrapped that frame in his first visit, though. He missed a simple brown and should call himself a bit lucky to be let off the hook.
A 110 makes it 7-5. Compared to the first session, this session has been a dream.
All the way Mark J!!

Similar pattern to this morning then... Stevens got back into the match, only for O'Sullivan to pull away slightly again. Anything in favour of Stevens, or even a 2-2 after the interval, would leave it nicely poised for tomorrow.

Absolutely. Stevens showed some of his class to somehow claw his way back into the match. Perhaps even more importantly than winning the frames, the way he's done it, he looked like he's up for the task and started to increase his potting percentage, as well.
O'Sullivan tends to respond with something from his own arsenal when his opponents raise their games and he just did so.
I'm expecting the second mini-session to be split, which would keep Stevens in the match within striking distance

Matthew should have been at Least 6-6 going into that Interval if Not 7-5 Up! He can come back from only 2 Frames down as he did at the Start of that Session but needs to keep Close as Possible to Ronnie otherwise Ronnie will Run away with it.
