had the chance to be 6-5 up

but couldnt steal the frame as he did in the previouse one because he felt the pressure and the improtance of the frame to be in front

noticable is that top players forget frame that they should have won very quickly whereas "good" players crumble under it

Matthew should have been at Least 6-6 going into that Interval if Not 7-5 Up! He can come back from only 2 Frames down as he did at the Start of that Session but needs to keep Close as Possible to Ronnie otherwise Ronnie will Run away with it.

Absolutely. Stevens showed some of his class to somehow claw his way back into the match. Perhaps even more importantly than winning the frames, the way he's done it, he looked like he's up for the task and started to increase his potting percentage, as well.
O'Sullivan tends to respond with something from his own arsenal when his opponents raise their games and he just did so.
I'm expecting the second mini-session to be split, which would keep Stevens in the match within striking distance

Ronnie should have wrapped that frame in his first visit, though. He missed a simple brown and should call himself a bit lucky to be let off the hook.
A 110 makes it 7-5. Compared to the first session, this session has been a dream.

Nice 110 break from Ronnie. 7-5. I'd say that's a fair score overall.

Game on! Really enjoyed this. Not been a masterclass by either player, but there's been a lot of drama/excitement. This could be a classic.

What a frame to win! One of the best clearances of the tournament.

5 of the last 6 frames to Stevens. He has a lot of momentum now.

The red to the green pocket and at the same time, splitting the two reds that were blocking each other was some shot.
