I thought they were getting on good terms these two. Not sure, but Hann would have really been up for it, right! (:

Another terrible shot by O'Sullivan. Carter right back in.

Before this match I didn't mind the guy but Ali Carter has ruined this final for me and I have no respect for him whatsoever
you're getting to see one of the best players of all time, at least Carter now has made himself out to be a good pro, the last session last night he looked like a decent amateur playing against a pro, the gulf in class looked massive, finally Carter has done SOMETHING today, got a frame, now a good break, finally he looks good! You should respect him for being there, how do you know how anyone could or should react out there? He was embarassed at his OWN play, simple as that, gutted and dejected at how the match was going, could you not see that at the time with the circumstances of the match???

Just look at how far he missed that long red by, that's not the sign of a player who's keeping his head.

What's so funny? He has played terrible in the last two.

And he makes a mess up of another long one now.

I sometimes think Ronnie misses or plays a risky shot on purpose to increase the tension look for a bigger challenge and make himself play better.
Maybe he is feeling guilty about finishing with a session to spare!

He has hit some purple patch along the way and created a big gap between, but, yes, in general, they were mediocre.
