  • Ronnie's tip

First 2 frames are so important. If Carter wins them, I genuinely think he can win it. Ronnie wins them both and he might pull away.

Who could say this is the Ronnie we all know? He has even given up on a couple of fair maximum opportunities. All he cares is the world title at the moment. He couldn't care less about those who are laying down on their sofas in front of their TVs to watch them play.
I respect the character he showed, so, it goes the same for Ali, as well,
damn right, this is his legacy, his career and NO ONE elses, who are we to tell the great man when to retire or how to play? None of us truly understand what it's like to play pro snooker and to put all the hours in to get there, and what it's like to play the world final, so they are both entitled to play how they have to, and how they want to!

I'm ok with this analogy as far as Rory McLeod doesn't get to be our Mace Windu, based on skin color!

Carter has the force? That explains all the flukes then.

Is anyone alone in thinking the 'legendary' Ebdon being a guru to Carter being cautious,is it such a bad thing there's approx 1500 yes 1.5k snooker clubs in Shanghai alone? as K Doherty said last night 'thats probably more than Europe combined'.
    Viva The Red Dragon!!

Just my opinion.
Well i think if Ali can slip in and out of attack\defence and stick with him we could have a fantastic final. This is proper Snooker we are getting and they both want it so badly.

I'm a bit soppy but i would like Carter to do well as the new killer regime is just too much for him, you could say the same of Ronnie but i want the little guy to do well x

in a way i would have been more happy he ali had an overnight lead

then some thoughts and doubts could have gone through his mind like i can be world champion and as a result he could have become more vulnerable. i would have fancied ronnie from behind more than in the lead

the problem with a lead is that by protecting it u can become very tenataive and could start making mistakes. but ronnie should have enough experience to handle the situation.
