How is snooker thriving all over the World (The world under-21 champ is an Iranian!!!) due to it being perceived as not 'cool'.

Just look at our national plunge down the international educational league tables to see why our young people believe being 'cool' is the be all and end all of everything in their lives. It's because they're taught to be thick.

Why is it that MOST guys want to look like they have just come from work on a building site while MOST women look fantastic and smart. Just look around, the UK must be among the worst dressed nations in the world.

There's another name for those blokes in football strips in the front row, "****wit Narcissists" is the term. I'm sure they spent more time looking for themselves on the overhead monitors than watching the match. Even when O'Sullivan received the trophy, the big one in the orange shirt did an over-elaborate celebration while watching himself, not even looking at the champion. Who wears Coventry City shirts anyway? They were just relegated last week FFS!!

Either way, I don't think anyone was suggesting the crowd should turn up in a three piece suit or tuxedo - but they could at least wear a pair of trousers/smart jeans and a shirt/nice jumper.

think people would have something to say if both finalists played their game in their fav football t- shirts or maybe shorts?

end of day snooker is a game with history of being smart, if you see old pics of people watching games they all ware dinner suits, even them at back of crowd. far enough times change and not saying people should do that today, but simple shirt, trousers. which everyone owns am sure. if for sake of pride in yourself, come on your not dressing for a kick around in the park with the kids

I think someone said the shots of the championship were on youtube?

It's a shame the BBC doesn't do a nice round up after the final with a bit of music - the trophy's handed over and it just ends. Also, it'd be nice if they did a one-hour review show of the whole tournament. Would be good to see pundits views after everything has calmed down.
