Why so? All sorts of people enjoy watching snooker. I didn't realise there was a dress sense for the audience. Surely you go in whatever you are comfortable in wearing, be it a football shirt and trackies or a tux. You're there to enjoy the wonderful snooker on display, not to look good in the background on the tele.

So I assume Michael "Hitman" Holt has jumped into the Top 32 with Hendry's retirement?

"peasant scum", bit ott...His seat been paid for all the same.. And anyway, the people at the front only turn up for the worlds and are not true snooker nuts.

    Shame it's already over.
I agree, it did feel a bit rushed.

It finished early - they could have worked in more analysis, interviews etc..

I'm sure he'll be playing in the first major ranking event of 2012-13.
    i hope that's the case.
back then ronnie's enemy was mainly taming his own mind.
i genuinely believe that ronnie has a legit reason to quit, as compared to before. (whether it is the right/correct decision is beyond my point)
my main point is that ronnie seems to show a better reason, other than the usual old "im fed up with this game i wanna do something else.

No, the BBC threw their dummy out of the pram when they got caught out rigging a blue peter (fairly sure it was blue peter) competition a few years back, ever since then they've rarely done anything of that sort.
