      • Jimmy has just far to much movement in his upper body when hits the white everything moves. Mybe this is just tension, he never moved this much when at the top of his game. This is not age related it's just poor basics

          • Is it me or does White's cue have a very long butt. It looks a little like one of those russian billiards cues.

            • Well done, Hendry! He did it once again. Cool 70+ in the decider.

                • Both players deserve great credit imo. Both under intense pressure. If it was first to ten, White would have won. First to 11, Hendry would have won.

The downfall for both players was playing each other. They would both have played better playing better players. Hendry will improve v Williams.

                  • Well... I said this match would not live up to the hype, but I have to say it doesn't get more dramatic than this. The last couple of frames certainly made up for all the previous misses.

Credit to Stephen Hendry, he basically got one long ball in the entire match, but what a time to get it. But he will have to find another gear or three to have any chance against Williams.

                    • I'm stunned that Stephen woke up so late but even at 7-8 down I expected him to win.
and that was a sweet break in the decider like in old times
Well poor play but nevertheless a great entartaining match of two legends
As about Stephen, I think he will play better against Williams, and it is another legend battle btw gl to them

                      • Jimmy what a plonker, In full control has a one frame advantage and mental advantage in a frame that hendry must have thought he couldn't lose. So what does jimmy do, hands it to him on a plate with a school boy error in shot selection. What the hell was he thinking, Shocking snooker

                        • Gotta love it!

I like White and almost felt sorry for him not to even get to the table, but for all you Hendry-haters at this board, who hates Hendo for taking White to the cleaners so many times.... once in a while the Maestro emerges

                          • Enjoyed the match overall, Jimmy pulled some great shots out in the frame heading for the re spotted black, shame about the shot on the green.

About what i expected this match some vintage stuff, alot of scrappy stuff, but great to see Jimmy back on the TV & qualifying for a few tournaments long may it continue.

Indeed...what a poor shot on the green when Hendry was missing ball after ball....but he did that all his career so he had to do it again today. But, credit where credit is due...well done Hendry for that cool break in the decider.
