You make it sound like he's lost in half a dozen World Finals!

Give the guy a chance, he's got a great future ahead of him - the last thing he needs is people like you belittling him for being 6-5 down in the second biggest event of the year against a former World Champion.

It is not acceptable if Higgins asks the referee to RESPOT the ball. I think John knew he couldn't do this so he asked the referee to "clean" the pink and then obviously force him to respot the ball in the correct place i.e. on the pink spot.

This is the only way around this situation for a player - I feel for Higgings as it was not his fault the pink was respotted incorrectly, and I would have done the same and asked the referee to clean the pink.

That's great.. every players seems to be playing well.
