I was wondering if that is not the effect of filming angle (on Eurosport 2 on telly the table looks 'longer' vertically. Selby was super thin in his retro style ).

Higgins-Lee match must be one of the best matches this season, if not the best so far, in terms of quality break building.

I mean his game looks better. The WC was a struggle for him and he couldn't match Williams at the China Open. Even before his Welsh Open victory, he played his worst match for a long time in the Masters. He just looked tired and drained mentally.

But now, after a bit of rest, he looks quite refreshed, and he couldn't have played much better on the table. I'm looking forward to seeing how this quarter plays out, with the winner of Higgins-Dott to play the winner of Selby-Maguire.
