Video of Mark Allen press conference - he is focussing on ranking tournaments

Hi everyone,

Just to let you all know, we have a video of Mark Allen's press conference in Telford at the weekend:

Good interview - I don't think he cared much for the question about Ken Doherty! - they had history and Ken isn't from Northern Ireland - which had been what they were talking about.
Honest about the tournaments, but realised he needed to do better and show a better performance in them rather than moan and he is right in what he says about the UK - also the year befroe the Murphy and Lee losses, he beat Hendry and then lost to Williams from 5-1 up where Williams was superb.

He seems to have his head screwed on right, but I wish the "top players" he includes himself in were more supportive of E/PTC comps as these all have the potential of being proper ranking events. As Reanne was in most, if not all of them, maybe it was baby sitting duty that prevented his entry rather than personal choice!
