But for all the poor misses, I have to say Hendry's snooker behind the black was probably the best shot so far this week. It won him the frame.

It's not how I was expecting this match to pan out so far. I was expecting Williams to dominate in this encounter , but due to the unforced errors of both players i am still enjoying it.

Even if Hendry takes a 5-3 lead which he now looks like doing, I still think Williams has the class and the nerve required to get over the line when they resume this evening..

I watched the final four frames of the session and I was quite disappointed at Mark's performance so far.. He seemed to miss nearly every single shot he normally makes with ease.

He must call himself lucky to get away with only a two-frame deficit and get his game together for the evening session..

Yes that was a poor match but the scoreline is right. Would be nice to see Hendo in the quarter
Roles changed in Robertson-Higginson match a few unforced missed from Neil and Andrew is potting everything!

It's the ability to produce under pressure that separates a top 16 player from a top 64 player.

Higginson is under no pressure whatsoever atm, hence he's playing like in practice almost. It's fun to watch though.
