Leo is struggling to keep up and making lot's of errors, to give him the final would be a mistake.

It's interesting that the top three referees are missing, because they pretty much shared all the major finals between them for quite a few years now.

Since Paul Collier was one of the top referees before his break, will he have to step in this week, or will someone like Moore or Humphries get the chance?

Terry Camilleri seems to be missing as well this week.

I was in Telford this week and I spoke to a couple of the referees about the tournament in general and found that Brendan had been named as the referee for the final regardless of which refs were there. I am glad he got the final on merit and not just because the so-called 'top 3' weren't there, as I think he is an excellent ref.
