i like john higgins, just as much as i like mark williams, and in this particular instance i wanted williams to win...but my word, higgins pulled it out the bag, be happy for him, and to be honest, im quite glad he won, i should have foreseen something like this, coming back from his ban, winning the EPTC event, then this...lol hes back, and its an absolute pleasure to watch, regardless of if you like him or not, just appreciate he is a genius with a cue in his hand, much the same as ronnie or any other wonder snooker player...john higgins has that special ability to make him a winner...

I am a Massive Mark Williams Fan as used to Play with him, But how on Earth did he just Pot That Black without even trying to get a Shot at that Yellow? Which would Go in Yellow Pocket.

I just didn't Understand it as the Black Was Easy and could have Screwed Back or Top to get closer to Yellow.

YES! Higgins wins his first tournament back, now backs it up to win his first televised tournament. Hard yards all the way, even from his first round match.

With all that, there is no doubt that these two players are two of the all-time greats. It will be disappointing if Williams can't add another UK/Masters/World to his CV before he calls it a day. As good as they have been, it would of been disappointing for them to finish there careers with 'only' two UKs and two Masters. Hence, I am so happy for Higgins now.

Even when he was trailing 9-5 i could sense it was not over, cause there is no better player under pressure than John Higgins. Great victory which should finally shut many mouths on here.

Probably the most thrilling tournament final I've witnessed live on television. Late night drama in snooker - there's nothing quite like it.

What a match. Yet I was expecting comments like this. Sad just sad. John has served the centace He was given. So blame the snooker authorietis ( the independent commission, not Hearn that is! ). After all the only thing that somebody could doubt is wheter Higgins felt scared in Kiev. And some of us seem to be ready to judge other peoples feeling by their fysical apperanse on an edited video. So all of you Higginsbashers think about this before you start to discrace snooker at an hour like this!

You can't call the winner of 17 ranking titles an average player. He didn't play well throughout the whole tournament, but still he showed how great player he is in this final, nevermind he lost a match he should have won confortably.
